Sorry

It's disgusting how the only way people feel they can resolve issues is to shoot them. He was so young, born in the same year as me, killed so close to me. it's frightening to think what's happening to the world.
I offer my deepest condolences to his family, no-one can imagine what its like to lose a son.
I'm sure he was an amazing kid and he'll be greatly missed.
All of us at streatham are disgusted and shocked.
I'm so sorry

Yet another kid dies.

Firstly i pass on my condolences from the heart to James family, relations and friends.

I used to work as a Police Officer in London from the 70's to 1999. I worked in several areas including Brixton, Clapham, North London and eventually Streatham. The use of guns to committ murder has become so common that it no longer makes the front page, we no longer gasp at such crimes. I am glad that I no longer work as a police officer as I found it increasingly difficult to accept yet another youngster died in a hail of bullets and little has been done to deter people from carrying guns or knives. Amnosty bins....fine but wheres the deterrrent after...the mandatory sentence. Guns are know becoming fashion accessories. It has to change.

I hope in time the grief eases for all those near to James, his mother, father, brothers, sisters and family. Unfortunately to the rest of us poor James at the young age of 16 will simply become a statistic.
